Your annual membership must be paid for within three weeks of joining.

This happens at the beginning of the new event year for the camera club, which is usually September.

Competitions


Q. When do I submit photos for competitions?

PRINT Competitions

There is NO need to send your entry details for the competition.
 
Please arrive with your entries by 7:15pm (at the latest!).
 
On the back of your prints needs to be a label with your [Comp No and Title and Group].
  

Please note that the naming/labelling convention is the same regardless of whether the competition is "open" or "set subject".

 

For example:

(Groups: Preliminary = P, Intermediate = I, Advanced = A)

 

 

DPI competitions

 

Images should be emailed to the Competition Secretary by the Tuesday before the competition AT THE LATEST, or put onto a USB stick or CD and handed in the week before the competition.

All entries must be resized as per DPI requirements for internal competitions (maximum 10" x 6" @ 300dpi), and be named as per the following format:

Title _ Comp No _ Group

 

e.g.

Devon_Seascape_07I.jpg

(Title of image is "Devon Seascape", membership number is "07", and group is "Intermediate")

P = Preliminary group

I = Intermediate group

A = Advanced group

 

Please ensure that your images are submitted in JPEG format!

Update: Please also add your info (title and author) into the fields within Photoshop, to make it easier to use the new projection software!
