Guidelines for resizing and renaming images for internal club DPI competitions...
Images should be resized to no larger than 10" x 6" (no one dimension to exceed either of these values), and set to 300dpi (dpi = dots (or pixels) per inch).
Don't forget: you should be adjusting the PRINT size, not the SCREEN size...
Images should be saved in JPEG format.
(Hint: do not resize your picture until you have completed any other work on it, ensure that the resizing process is the LAST thing you do before you save it!)
File Naming:
Filenames should follow the format as shown in the example below...
ImageTitle _ Comp No _ Group .JPG
e.g.
Devon_Seascape_07I.jpg
(In this example, the image title is "Devon Seascape", competition number is 7, group is Intermediate)
Groups: P = Preliminary, I = Intermediate, A = Advanced
